Dr. José A. Cortés,

Director of the Internal Medicine for Residency Program at the Cabrini Medical Center, has served on HAF’s Board of Directors in the role of secretary for the past twelve years. His commendable record of service as an HIV specialist, marked by his compassion and unconditional commitment, has enhanced the wellbeing of countless people living with HIV and AIDS.

Dennis de Leon,

President of the Latino Commission on AIDS, has demonstrated indefatigable leadership and advocacy for the health of people living with HIV and AIDS. He holds an impressive record of long-term active involvement in human and civil rights, politics, and HIV/AIDS awareness efforts since the beginnings of the AIDS epidemic.

The Paul Rapoport Foundation

has consistently and dedicatedly supported lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) communities by tackling homophobia and discrimination. The Foundation has been a steadfast partner in HAF’s pursuit of its mission to improve health outcomes for New York City Latinos who are affected by chronic illnesses.
